Signing in happens in the browser, and so does everything behind it — there is no server here rendering pages. Enable JavaScript and reload.
A profile is drawn from your account, and reading it is the browser's own request against the database. With scripting off there is nothing to draw it with. The designer needs it too — everything here runs in the browser and there is no server rendering anything.
